Great video. Black Americans don't know their own upper trajectory following the Civil War nor the horrific conditions of poor Europeans who came to US shores. As Thomas Sowell correctly points out, there was so much civil division among Europeans. Southern and Eastern Europeans were deemed genetically inferior. In the US, the poor Irish, Sicilian, and other groups did the most dangerous jobs. This was joined by the Chinese as well. Education and a stable family were the ladder to a better life. These facts are left out of the narrative.

Thank you so much for sharing what I assume is your history. I am descendant of the Irish and never understood why it Was never mentioned in history books that the first slaves of America were Irish and the first slave owner was actually black. Smh.

Thanks a lot. Yes the red legs in Barbados for instance are descendants of Irish slaves
